I don’t know about you, but I love a good deal. I started using Kindle Unlimited from a Christmas Amazon deal where I got 3 months for $0.99. Yes, less than a $1 for 3 months. This is a great deal, and if you don’t have a Kindle Unlimited subscription already, I totally suggest waiting for the Black Friday or Christmas deals to see what promos they’re running. However, if you need it this instance, I’d love for you to use my link to get your free trial (then use my hack later, of course!).
So, let’s cut to the chase. The ~secret~ is buying an Amazon Kindle Unlimited Gift… for yourself or a friend (yes, this is actually a great gift!!) that already has a subscription. The gift deal results in pretty good % off for 6 months or more. And I’d personally recommend the 6 month deal.
Here’s the link for this deal page. And I have step-by-step directions below with proof of how it shows up on your account afterwards and “pauses” your membership payment.
Step 1
Follow the link. You’ll be able to see the price breakdown for yourself and decide what works best for you. (Again, I recommend 6 months.)
Step 2
Insert your email in to the “Recipient’s Email.” You can also do this if you are sending this to a friend as you can forward the email, or put their email directly in.
Step 3
Go to your email and click on the Redemption link.
Step 4
Once on the Amazon site, you can confirm which account this gift is applied to. You also have the option to switch this to a gift card if you change your mind (why would you ever?).
Step 5
To follow up, you can see how this impacts your billing schedule. As you can see, mine will pause after October 24th, use the gift I sent myself for 6 months, and resume April 24th at the normal rate!
Happy Reading!!
