i’m Renee. i’m a shameless romance lover by night, a data engineer by day. i love a good spoiler and “calling” what will happen in a book. besides that, I enjoy “bad” (read: good) reality TV, Lifetime and Hallmark movies, hot girl walks, and reading in parks. i live in Nashville, TN, so stick around for the best recs.
i’m so excited to share my love of reading with you all, but I also want to sprinkle in other aspects of my life! my blog name, better be romance, was chosen because I’d say 98% (yeah, I like numbers) of the books I read have a romance factor. when friends give me book recommendations, my first questions are, “does it have romance?” “but is there a love story in the plot???”
better be romance is a mix of quick reviews – my version of the book blurb (no spoilers), “what I couldn’t say” reviews which contain all of my thoughts on a book (spoilers), book lists, and tidbits of my life – products I’m loving, what I’m buying, places I’m traveling to, and more. here’s a non-exhaustive list of genres I read: fantasy (love!), mafia, sports, comedy, enemies-to-lovers, friends-to-lovers, but remember… there better be romance!!
